Nowadays, there are more and more unusual ways of entertaining your wedding guests and listed below are a few options you may wish to incorporate into your wedding day. 

Wedding Music:  The main entertainment provided for your guests is normally the hiring of a DJ or live band but why not consider tribute artists or a pianist. 

Wedding Fireworks: You may want to have your wedding go with a bang by having a firework display to end your night. 

Dove Release: White doves are a symbol of peace, love, faith and fidelity, and the release of a pair of doves or a flock of doves by the bride and groom will signify they are about to embark on a new life together. Such a romantic display is sure to have all your wedding guests wanting to capture the moment on camera. 

Sky Lanterns: Sky lanterns are small hot air balloons made from non-flammable tissue paper.  Once they have been opened and the wick lit, the heat generated from the flame fills the sky lantern with hot air. After 30 seconds the sky lantern has enough hot air to rise into the sky to a height of approximately 1,000 ft (300 m).  A sky lantern will remain lit for over five minutes, travelling up to two miles depending on weather conditions. 

Magician: Magic has evolved over the years and a new wave of magicians are taking close up magic to even greater heights of trickery. Ideal as entertainment to keep the children occupied.

Casino:  This is a great icebreaker creating interaction between your guests and is suitable for all ages.  No real money is involved, you and your wedding guests use 'fun money' supplied by croupiers who will explain the game rules to first timers.  Some companies also supply slot machines or giant versions of board games such as Connect 4, Snakes and Ladders or Chess. 

Caricaturist:Caricaturists can be a fabulous idea and they can make your day that bit more special.  They create a talking point and put your guests at ease during lulls in the day’s proceedings. Guests will have an original signed work of art as a memento of your big day to treasure forever.
